Recalls: Battery Chargers

This recall involves Ryobi model P113 dual chemistry battery chargers designed for use with both NiCd and Li-Ion portable power tool batteries. Battery chargers included in this recall are green and grey and have "Ryobi" printed in white lettering on the front of the charger. The model number and date code can be found on the data plate located on the bottom of the charger. Model P113 chargers with year/week (YY/WW) date codes between 0731-0852, without a nine digit part number, are included in the recall. Read more.

This recall involves Ryobi brand, Lithium 18 V 4Ah battery packs, with model P108 and part number 130429028. The battery pack is green, silver and black. "Ryobi" and "Lithium+18V" are printed in white lettering on both sides of the battery pack. The model and part number can be found on the data plate located on the bottom of the battery pack.

This recall involves Sharper Image USB wall chargers with model numbers “TSI202” and “TSI260.” The wall chargers are used to recharge electronic devices through a USB connection including MP3 players and other devices. The chargers are black plastic and measure about 2 ½ inches high by 1 ½ inches wide. “The Sharper Image” is printed on the top. The model number is printed on bottom of the charger, Read more.

The charger holds two AA or AAA batteries, is silver colored and has a sticker on the top which says “Digital Concepts” and “Compact Travel Charger”. This recall involves item numbers CH-1600S and CH-1600-RS which are identified with the date code MID#: 0801110. Both numbers can be found on the white label on the underside of the charger. The recalled product is a Mophie Juice Pack Air rechargeable external battery which consists of a lithium polymer battery built into a plastic case designed to snap onto the back of an iPod Touch 4G music player. The battery cases come in black, blue or red. Only battery cases with serial numbers that have the first five alphanumeric characters of TR113 through TR120 are subject to this recall. This recall includes the Rocketfish™ Model RF-KL12 Mobile Battery Case. The battery case is made of black lightweight, soft-touch rubberized material designed to hold the phone securely, and comes with a built-in battery. The model number “RF-KL12” appears on the front of the product’s packaging, on the packaging barcode, and in white print on the curved inner surface of the product. Read more.

The Losi NiMH Start-Up Combo Charger is black, measures 4” x 2” and has model number LOSB9904. The model number is printed on the back of the product’s packaging with the bar code. A Losi logo sticker is on the front of the charger, along with another sticker bearing the instruction: “Use only with 7.2V NiMH Batteries 1500mAh or higher.” On the back of the charger is a sticker with voltage and current ratings for input (100-240VAC, 1.0A) and output (8.5V, 3A) along with another Losi logo. The recalled Mobile Power Pack is a mobile device that receives an AC charge in a compact battery pack that will then give five DC charges to small electronic devices including mobile phones, MP-3 players, Blackberries, and PDAs. The power pack is black and silver and is rectangular in shape. The front of it has a small circular control panel. The front also displays the word “Tumi” engraved on a silver button located towards the bottom of the device. Style number 14362 is printed on the power pack packaging. Read more.

The Wii 4-Dock Recharge Station includes a white docking station with four recharge stations and a four rechargeable battery pack. Brand names are on the front of the packaging and the model numbers, Psyclone (PSE6501) and React (RT530), can be found on the bottom side of the product. Read more.
