The metal water bottles are about 9 inches tall and have a black rubber pull up sip top. The following water bottles are included in this recall. Backyard and Beyond brand water bottles with model numbers 67402, 67404, 67442, 67444, 67742, 60442, 67744, 67746, 67748 and 60448 printed on the hang tag. The metal water bottles have a black plastic sip-top and were sold in green, pink or blue with assorted animal or insect graphics on the exterior. The recalled plastic water bottles have a Spiderman® picture on the cup and a Spiderman® figure on the screw-on lid. The water bottle is red, white, blue, and black and measures nine inches high. October 4, 2007- Sports Authority Recalls Aluminum Water Bottles Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
This recall involves the Alpine Design aluminum water bottles sold at Sports Authority. The water bottles are sold in different colors and measure between six and 10 ½ inches tall. The water bottles are silver, blue, red, blue with pink flowers, red with the depiction of a mouse, or blue with the depiction of a zebra. “Alpine Design” is painted on the water bottle. The recall involves the brushed stainless steel and the green 1-liter and 2-quart bottles, and the 24-oz. wide mouth food jar.
