November 9, 2009- Maclaren USA Recalls to Repair Strollers Following Fingertip Amputations
This recall involves all Maclaren single and double umbrella strollers. The word “Maclaren” is printed on the stroller. The affected models included Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller. August 27, 2009- Baby Jogger Recalls Strollers Due to Fall Hazard
This recall involves Baby Jogger City Mini single and double strollers. “City Mini” is printed on the stroller. Item numbers and date codes included in this recall are listed in the chart below along with stroller colors. The item number is printed on a sticker on the rear wheel crossbar. The manufacturing date code is engraved on the frame behind the rear wheel axle crossbar or on the back of the frame on the upright bar between the right rear wheel and the seat. June 2, 2009- Bugaboo Recalls Strollers Due to Risk of Brake Failure
Bugaboo Bee strollers have item code 580210 on a label on the back of the seat and item code 50100 on a label on the plastic support under the seat. The strollers were sold in blue, dark khaki, pink, red, yellow, and black. “bugaboo® bee” is printed on the left side of the seat. December 17, 2008- Regal Lager Recall to Replace Phil & Teds Strollers Due to Fall Hazard
This recall involves Phil & Teds Dash Buggy strollers with article #7-1080005 (red) and article #7-10080005 (black). The strollers have a metal frame with three wheels, a cloth seat, and a canopy. The Phil & Teds logo is located on the crotch piece of the harness. The article number can be found on the safety strap hanging from the handle. August 28, 2008- Regal Lager Recalls to Repair Phil & Teds Strollers Due to Laceration Hazard
The recalled single strollers all have metal frames with three wheels, a cloth seat and canopy. The twin strollers have a metal frame with four wheels, side-by-side cloth seats and double sun canopies. The strollers were sold in a variety of colors including red, orange, green, black, charcoal and navy. The Phil & Teds logo is located on the crotch piece of the harness. August 26, 2008- Stroller Activity Bars Recalled by International Playthings Due to Choking Hazard
This recall involves the Taggies™ Strollin’ Along stroller activity bars. The multicolored, fabric, and plastic activity bars feature a yellow giraffe, a purple hippo and a blue elephant attached to a 12” long elliptical base with straps that attach to a stroller. The Taggies™ and Earlyears® logos are located on woven and satin labels sewn into the seam on the lower left front of the activity bar. December 11, 2007- Stokke Announces Recall of Certain Xplory Strollers Due to Front Wheel Detachment
Only Xplory® baby strollers with serial numbers 1 through 27,295 and 27,698 through 28,097 and with grey handles are included in the recall. The serial number is located under the foot plate. Strollers with white handles are not included in this recall. December 27, 2006- Regal Lager Inc. Recall to Repair Strollers Due to Abrasion Hazard
This recall involves the e3 Buggy which is a three-wheeled stroller with a black steel tubing frame. It is sold in a variety of fabric colors. An additional seat, known as a "Doubles Kit," can be added directly behind the main stroller's seat allowing a second child to ride in the stroller. This seat can either be added on top of the stroller's frame or attached on top of the rear axle in the lower position. When used in the lower position, a seated child can reach the wheels. The recalled Phil & Teds e3 twin buggy has a metal frame and side by side cloth seats. The strollers were sold in a variety of colors including red, orange, black, charcoal grey and navy. "e3 twin" is embroidered on the front of each seat and the Phil & Teds logo is printed on the crotch piece of each harness. April 25, 2006- Sycamore Kids Inc. Expands Recall Again of Mountain Buggy Jogging Strollers
The recalled strollers have a metal frame and a cloth seat with a sun canopy. The strollers were sold in a variety of colors including: midnight blue, navy, red, black, silver and orange. A metal plate above the footrest shows the Mountain Buggy logo with "Mountain Buggy," and "Urban," or "Breeze" written underneath on the metal plate. The recalled Mountain Buggy Urban Single strollers have item number U1204-002, and serial numbers between 000000 and 015276. The recalled Mountain Buggy Urban Double strollers have item number U2204-002, and serial numbers between 000000 and 009221. The recalled Mountain Buggy Breeze strollers have item number B1204-001, and serial numbers between 000000 and 000191. The serial number and model number are on the back of the metal plate. |
