February 1, 2024 BISSELL Recalls Multi Reach Hand and Floor Vacuum Cleaners Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves BISSELL Multi Reach Hand and Floor Vacuum Cleaners models 1985, 19851 (also called Multi Auto), 19859, 1985T, 2151, 21512, 21513, 21517, 21518, 21519, 2151A, 2151T, 2151W, 2151V. "Multi Reach" is printed on the hand vacuum portion of the product. The vacuum cleaners were sold in a variety of colors. The model numbers are printed on the product rating label located behind the dirt tank. Note: Recalled lithium-ion batteries should be disposed of in accordance with any local and state ordinances, following the procedures established by your municipal recycling center for damaged/defective/recalled lithium batteries, because these potentially hazardous batteries must be handled differently than other batteries. Do not throw this recalled battery in the trash. Do not deposit this recalled battery in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Read more.


December 7, 2023 Oreck Discover Upright Vacuums Recalled by TTI Floor Care Due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall involves models UK30500 and UK30500PC of the Oreck Discover Upright Vacuum. Impacted vacuums also have serial numbers that begin with AJ2226, AJ2227, AJ2228, AJ2229, AJ2230, AJ2231, and AJ2232. The model and serial number are printed on a silver data label on the bottom of the vacuum. The vacuum is silver and black with "Oreck" and "Discover" printed on the front. Read more.

This recall involves Aiper Elite Pro cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaners with model number GS100. The Elite Pro unit weighs 11.2 pounds and measures about 15.9 x 14.2 x 10 inches. The dark gray pool vacuum cleaners have the "Aiper" brand name printed on the top/front of the product. September 11, 2018 Emerson Tool Company Recalls RIDGID Wet/Dry Vacuums Due to Shock Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Home Depot

This recall involves RIDGID NXT wet/dry vacuums, models HD06000 (6-gallon) and HD09000 (9-gallon). The orange and black wet/dry vacuum has four swivel casters, a carrying handle, a hose and accessories. RIDGID is printed on the front of the vacuum. The model number can be found on a silver product identification label on the back of the vacuum's powerhead assembly. Read more.


February 2, 2016 Royal Appliance Recalls Dirt Devil Pet Vacuums Due to Electrical Shock Hazard

The recall includes three models of the Dirt Devil Total Pet Cyclonic Upright vacuums, model UD70210, UD70210CA and UD70210RM. The model number and manufacture date code are printed on a silver label on the back side of the vacuum. The vacuums are identical with black, gray and clear housing with red and purple trim. "Total Pet" is printed underneath the Dirt Devil logo in the center of the vacuum. Only vacuums with the first three digits of the four-digit manufacture date code that begin with B14 through I15 are included in the recall. All recalled vacuums were manufactured between February 2014 and September 2015. Read more.


April 22, 2015 Shark Vacuum Cleaners Recalled by Euro-Pro Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves four models of Shark® brand Rotator® Powered Lift-Away® series upright vacuum cleaners. They are either maroon or purple in color and have a clear plastic middle section. Shark and Rotator are printed on the front of the vacuum cleaners. They measure about 45 inches tall by 12 inches wide. Recalled model numbers include NV650W, NV651, NV652 and NV660. The model number is printed on a silver sticker on the upper right-hand corner of the back of the unit. Models NV650W and NV652 are maroon. Model NV650W is sold directly to consumers by Euro-Pro and model NV652 is sold at retail stores. Models NV651 and NV660 are purple and are sold at retail stores. The date code is printed on the metal prong of the power plug and shows the week and year of manufacture in the WWYY format. Recalled units have date codes beginning with the number 48 or lower and ending with 14. Vacuum cleaners marked with a dimple or green circle sticker on the outside of the plastic cuff that holds the aluminum wand have been inspected by the firm and are not included in this recall. March 4, 2015 Dirt Devil Recalls Hand Vac Turbo Tool Accessory Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled Dirt Devil Turbo Tool attachment was sold as a vacuum accessory with the corded Dirt Devil Scorpion Turbo Quick Flip Hand Vac. The accessory tool is a plastic, clear yellowish green attachment with a black turbine fan and black brush roll with white bristles. "Royal," model number "08225" and a five-digit manufacture date code ending in 12A U, 13A U, 13B U or 14B U are printed on a label on the bottom of the hand vacuum. The Turbo Tool measures about 5-3/4 inches long by 4-1/2 inches wide. Consumers can continue to use the Dirt Devil hand vacuum without the turbo tool accessory attachment. Read more.


February 21, 2013 Electric Blower Vacuums Recalled by OWT Industries Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Walmart

This recall involves Expert Gardener electric blower vacuums with two different model and serial number ranges, including model 20254EG with serial numbers BMP3010001 through BMR3311972, and model 20254EGC with serial numbers EUP3120001 through EUP3630730. Model and serial numbers are located on a label on the left side of the motor housing. The blower vacuums are green and black. "Expert Gardener" and "BlowerVac 2 Speed Quiet 150 MPH Powerful 220 MPH" are printed on the side of the green motor housing and on the black plastic blower tube.
