This recall involves all Aduro Surge Wall Charging Tower surge protectors. The surge protectors have 12 outlets, dual USB ports and are white or black in color. The Aduro logo appears on the center front panel below the two USB ports. Model and SKU numbers AHR-318 (SKU SRG-WT12O2U) or SS-Q1202 (SKU SRG-WT12O2UNV) are printed on a label on the rear of the surge protector. Read more.


April 7, 2021 Goal Zero Recalls Power Cables Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves only the 12-foot EC8 Extension cables (model 98201) and Male EC8 to Ring cables (model 98202) that are installed in vehicle integrations. The 12-foot EC8 Extension cable was sold individually and with the Car Charge Kit. This cable was used to connect Yeti power stations to either a Yeti Tank or a vehicle battery. The Male EC8 to Ring cable was sold individually and with different Yeti Tanks. These cables are used to connect Yeti Tanks to Yeti power stations and are frequently coupled with the 12-foot EC8 Extension cable. This recall involves Schneider Electric Surgeloc Surge Protection Devices. The 3-wire and 4-wire devices are primarily installed in commercial/industrial applications and may include some residential applications. They are black rectangular-shaped devices with a green plastic rimmed meter and a white label with "Square D by Schneider Electric," with the date code and the catalog number on the front. The recalled devices were manufactured from January 1, 2013 (date code 13011) through August 24, 2020 (date code 20352). The date codes are in the YYWWD format (example: 20452 = year 2020, week 45, day 2 Monday; the day is optional). The date code is located on the front of the device. May 15, 2014 Legrand Wiremold Expands Recall of Under-Cabinet Power Strips Due to Electric Fire Hazard

This recall involves all Wiremold and Plugmold under-cabinet power and lighting strips with part number PX1001. The recalled power strips have four outlets and one fluorescent light and were manufactured from January 2011 through December 2013. From January 2011 through June 2012, the power strip came in a red package with the words "Legrand" and "Under Cabinet Power and Lighting" on the top front and "Wiremold-Series Part PX1001" on the bottom front. From July 2012 to April 2013, the power strip came in a white package with the word "Legrand" on the top front and "Plugmold Power Light," "Under-Cabinet Power and Lighting" and "PX1001" on the bottom front. The manufacture date code is on the bottom of the recalled power strip in a circle with the year shown as "11," "12" or "13" in the center and an arrow pointing to the number representing the month. This recall involves APC 7 and 8 series SurgeArrest surge protectors manufactured before 2003. The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the bottom of the surge protector. The two numbers that follow the first letter or letters in the serial number sequence indicate the year of manufacture. The unit is included in the recall if the numbers are 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01 or 02. APC and the words Personal, Professional, Performance or Network are printed on the surge protectors. April 16, 2008 HSN Recalls Power Strips for Charge-It-All Valets Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

This recall involves the power strips sold with the medium and large Joy Mangano Charge-It-All Valets. The valet is a box with divided compartments that comes with a power strip that allows the user to recharge and organize items such as cell phones, mp3 players, PDAs and cameras in a single location. The medium valet comes with a 3-receptacle power strip and the large valet comes with a 6-receptacle power strip. The letters J and M are printed in cursive under the valet. Read more.


January 11, 2006 Neptune Systems Recalls Power Strips for Shock Hazard

The Direct Connect 8 (DC8) power strip is sold for use to control aquarium equipment with a computer. The power strip has a black aluminum enclosure with eight outlets, and a black extension cord. The serial number is printed on the white label on the side of the unit. The serial numbers are between DC81000 through DC81633. "Direct Connect 8" is written on the side of the unit. Read more.
