August 12, 2020 Intertex Recalls Blowers Due To Fire Hazard

This recall involves several models of centrifugal and axial blowers sold under the B-Air, BlueDri, BlueDri Pro and Soleaire brands. Each blower has convenience outlets on the side of the unit to allow the blowers to be "daisy chained" (several blowers plugged together in series) or other devices to be plugged in. These blowers were sold in a variety of models and colors. Model numbers can be found on the rear of the products. This recall involves ECHO and Shindaiwa brand 2-cycle gas powered commercial backpack blowers with shoulder straps. This recall also includes replacement shoulder straps. The model and serial numbers can be found on the blower's engine block. The ECHO or Shindaiwa logo appears on the shoulder strap, and the replacement strap part number appears on the plastic bag at the time of sale. March 2, 2017 One World Technologies Recalls Electric Blowers Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Home Depot

This recall involves the Ryobi 8amp Electric Jet Fan Blowers with model number RY42102 and a serial number between EU15401D170001 and EU16239N999999. The model and serial numbers are printed on the data label on the bottom of the blower. The blower is black and green with "RYOBI" printed on the side of the blower. September 13, 2016 BLACK+DECKER™ Recalls Electric Blower/Vacuum/Mulchers Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves BLACK+DECKER 3-in-1 electric blower/vacuum/mulchers with model numbers BV5600, BV6000 and BV6600. The model number and "Type 1" are printed on the name plate on the right side of the motor housing. Only "Type 1" blower/vacuum/mulchers are included in this recall. They are orange with black accents, a black fan cover and a two-speed switch. They were sold with a blower tube, a vacuum tube and a reusable collection bag. Model BV6600 also has a rake attachment. This recall involves Worx brand electric blower/vacs. The blower/vacs are black, measure 11 inches high by 19.5 inches long and have the "Worx" logo printed on the side of the motor housing. They were manufactured between May 13, 2011 and May 16, 2012. The third through sixth characters of the serial number identify the manufacturing date. The third character is the month, for example D for April, E for May and F for June. The fourth and fifth characters are the day of the month. The sixth character is the last digit of the year of manufacture. Model, item and serial number are located on a white label on the bottom of motor housing. The 7.5 amp electric blowers are black.
