February 1, 2018 Cordless Electric Chainsaws Recalled Due to Injury Hazard; Distributed by Hongkong Sun Rise Trading

This recall involves Greenworks, Kobalt and Snapper brands of cordless electric chainsaws. The recalled chainsaws have a 16 or 18-inch saw and an 80 or 82-volt lithium ion battery. "GreenworksPro," "Greenworks Commercial," "Kobalt," or "Snapper" is printed on the saw blade. The model number and item number (if applicable) are printed at the top of the warning label underneath the chainsaw switch handle. October 17, 2017 Frontier Wood Chippers Recalled by John Deere Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves Frontier Wood Chippers with model numbers WC1103, WC1105, and WC1205.The green and black landscaping machines have knives (blades) that grind up tree branches turning them into wood chips or mulch. The model number and "Frontier" brand name are printed on the side of the machine. The serial number is located on the inside surface of the right hand frame on the rear of the machine. September 20, 2017 John Deere Recalls Lawn Tractors and Service Part Transmissions Due To Crash Hazard

This recall involves John Deere model D105 lawn tractors with serial numbers beginning with 1GXD105, and service transmissions sold by John Deere authorized dealers for use in the D105 lawn tractor. John Deere and the model number are printed on the side of the engine hood. The serial number is located on the rear frame of the machine above the left rear tire. If the lawn tractor serial number is not on the firm's website and the transmission had been replaced from March 2016 through August 2017, consumers should contact their John Deere service dealer to check if the recall applies to their replacement service transmission. This recall involves STIHL MS 461 gas-powered chain saws, and the MS 461 R chain saw with a wrap handle. The model number is on the model plate, located on the starter cover. The chain saws are gray and orange with "STIHL" on the engine cover. February 23, 2017 Carrier Expands Recall of Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps Due to Fire Hazard

This expanded recall involves Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP) sold under the Bryant, Carrier and Fast brand names. Recalled units include those with original power cords and those that received a replacement power cord as part of the 2007 recall. The recalled units have capacities of 7,000; 9,000; 12,000 and 15,000 BTUs and plug into 208/230-volt, 20-amp outlets. The following brands and models are being recalled: • Carrier models 52CE, 52CQ, 52PE, 52PQ, 52PC, 52ME, 53MQ; • Bryant models 840, 841, and 842; and • Fast models 840, 841, and 842. March 28, 2016 Additional Injuries Prompt Reannouncement of Fiskars Recall of Bypass Lopper Shears Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Home Depot

This recall involves Fiskars Titanium Bypass Lopper shears with model number 6954. The lopper shears have 32-inch dark orange steel handles and black rubber grips with a gray strip. Plastic gears connected to the pruning blades allow the consumers to open and close the pruning blades by moving the handles. "FISKARS" is printed on one handle and product identification information, including model number 6954, is printed on a label on the opposite handle above the barcode. Read more.

This recall involves STIHL edgers with model number FC 56 C, trimmer/brushcutters with model numbers FS 40 C, FS 50 C, FS 56 C and FS 56 RC, pole pruners with model number HT 56 C and KombiMotors with model number KM 56 RC. The model number is located on the starter cover at the rear of the engine. The engine size is about 28 cc. The products are gray and orange with "STIHL" on the engine cover. This recall involves Ariens®, Husqvarna®, Jonsered® and Poulan Pro® brand rear tine tillers used for plowing, cultivation and ridging gardens and lawns. The tillers have an engine to power the wheels and the rear tines, an operator handle with forward and reverse transmission and tilling widths ranging from 17 to 19 inches.
