March 8, 2012 Lenovo Recalls ThinkCentre Desktop Computers Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled all-in-one desktop computers, or PCs, are flat-panel monitors with the PC integrated into the monitor housing itself. The power supplies are also inside the monitor or PC housing. The computer chassis has a matte black finish with the brand name "ThinkCentre" in the lower left hand corner of the monitor front. The recalled desktop model numbers are M90z and M70z along with the serial number and manufacturing date code can be found on a label on the underside of the unit. Read more.


August 2, 2011 Cloud Engines Recalls Pogoplug Video File Sharing Device Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the Pogoplug Video file sharing device. The device is a black desktop electronics box, measuring about 2.5 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 5.5 inches high. It is used to stream and share videos, photos, and music and to provide remote access to files stored on drives attached to the device. May 27, 2011 HP Expands Recall of Notebook Computer Batteries Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are used with various model series of HP and Compaq notebook computers and include batteries that consumers were informed were not included in previous recalls. The chart below includes all notebook model numbers associated with batteries recalled to date. April 14, 2010 Dive Computers Recalled by Mares Due to Drowning Hazard

This recall involves the Mares Nemo Air Dive Computer, Nemo Air Dive Computer with Compass, Mares High Pressure Hose with Quick Connector for Nemo Air, and Quick Connector Assembly for Nemo Air. These computers have a digital screen which allows scuba divers to measure the time and depth of a dive and process other information to help divers determine safe dive times and ascent rates. January 7, 2010 Acer Recalls Notebook Computers Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled notebook computer models are the Acer AS3410, AS3410T, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG. The computer’s screen size is about 13.3 inches measured diagonally. October 28, 2008 Power Adapters Used with Notebook Computers Recalled by Battery-Biz Due To Burn Hazard

This recall involves the Duracell 130W Combo AC/DC adapters with model numbers EA10900, AC-6501, and DRUM130 and date codes 0804 and 0805. The black power adapter is used with notebook computers. “DURACELL UNIVERSAL POWER ADAPTER” is printed on the front of the power adapter. This recall involves batteries with serial numbers listed below sold with the TF-DVD 1020 portable DVD/CD/MP3 players. The battery’s serial number can be found on a white sticker affixed to it.
