CPSC, Suzuki Announce Recall of Automatic Transmission Eiger ATVs
American Suzuki Motor Corporation of Brea, Calif., is voluntarily recalling approximately 4,700 2002 model year All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The Suzuki "Eiger" LT-A400K2 and LT-A400FK2 (two and four-wheel drive) ATVs have automatic transmissions. These models carry the identifications "Suzuki" and "Eiger" on both sides of the bodywork, roughly inboard of the operator's knee location. The ATVs are available in both red and green. Suzuki dealers nationwide sold these ATVs from September through mid-October 2001 for between $4,400 and $5,200.

CPSC, Kawasaki Motor Corporation Announce Recall of ATVs
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) of Irvine Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 360 model year 2002 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The Kawasaki "Bayou 200, 300, 300 (4x4) " is a four-wheel ATV with a manual transmission. The recalled ATVs are model numbers KLF220A- 15, KLF300-B15, and KLF300-C14. They have "Kawasaki" and "Bayou" written on both sides of the bodywork, roughly inboard of the operators knee location. Kawasaki dealers sold these ATVs nationwide in November 2001 for between $3,000 and $5,000.

CPSC, Lite Machines Corp. Announces Recall of Motor Speed Controller
Lite Machines Corporation of West Lafayette, Ind., is voluntarily recalling 375 Fusion 35 electric-motor speed controllers that it shipped with its Corona electric helicopter kits before December 2001. The Fusion 35 speed controller, a small printed circuit board with wires extending from either side, is packed in a clear plastic bag separate from other radio system components, and carries the identification "Fusion 35 #30499" on its front plate. These components were sold with the electric helicopter kits at hobby shops from November 2001 through December 2001 for about $60.

CPSC, Neiman Marcus Group Announce Recall of Pine Tree Candles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, The Neiman Marcus Group Inc., of Dallas, Texas, is voluntarily recalling about 620 Pine Tree Candles. The candles can collapse, causing the flame and hot wax to spread and posing a fire hazard to consumers.

CPSC, Arctic Cat Inc. Announce Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Arctic Cat Inc., of Thief River Falls, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 15,500 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The pressure switch in the braking system leaks fluid. The unexpected loss of fluid can cause the brakes to fail, posing the risk of serious injury or death.

CPSC, L.A. Baby Announce Recall of Folding Little Wood Cribs
L.A. Baby, of Vernon, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 2,000 folding Little Wood Cribs. The recalled cribs have model numbers 83 and 83/4 with manufacture dates of March 2001 or May 2001, located on the mattress board underneath of the mattress. The cribs' headboards and footboards unlatch to fold inward for easy portability from room to room. They are non full-sized, wooden cribs and have a natural or white finish. L.A. Baby sold the recalled cribs to hotels, daycare centers, and small specialty stores from March 2001 to October 2001 for about $170.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), LTD Commodities Inc., of Bannockburn, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 33,000 Snowman Holiday Porcelain Lanterns. These snowman lanterns can crack or catch fire due to excessive heat from the tealight candles, which poses a risk of injury to consumers.

CPSC, Next Level Communications Announce Recall of Power Supply for Computer Modems
Next Level Communications of Rohnert Park, CA, is voluntarily recalling about 46,000 power supplies manufactured by PowDec Technologies, Inc. These power supplies are used with Next Level ADSL/VDSL ETHERset (modem) units, which provide high-speed internet access. They have a black plastic housing and are 2.5-inches wide, 2.75- inches high, and 1.5-inches deep. The name "PowDec" and the model "WP12303N" are located on a label on the back of the housing. The recalled power supplies were provided for use with Next Level ADSL/VDSL ETHERset part numbers: 750-00097 A,B&C and 750-00526 A&B. ADSL/VDSL ETHERsets with a recalled power supply were sold nationwide from February 1999 to May 2001 for a suggested retail price between $225 and $250.
