Dorel Juvenile Group USA Recall to Repair Battery-Powered Ride-On Vehicles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dorel Juvenile Group USA, of Columbus, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 141,000 Battery-Powered Ride-On Vehicles. An electronic malfunction can occur in the ride-on vehicle’s circuit board and/or battery connector, resulting in smoking and melting of components. This poses a vehicle fire hazard and a burn hazard to consumers if components are touched while malfunctioning.

Far East Brokers and Consultants Inc. Recall of Kiddie Car Cruisers Sold Exclusively at Big Y Stores
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Far East Brokers and Consultants Inc. (FEBC), of Jacksonville, Fla., is voluntarily recalling about 500 Kiddie Car Cruisers. The Kiddie Car Cruiser can continue to run when the accelerator is no longer depressed, which could result in the rider losing control of the car.

Tek Nek Toys Recall of Ride-On Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Tek Nek Toys International, L.P., of Grapevine, Texas, is voluntarily recalling about 70,000 ride-on toy trucks for repair. The screw and nut assembly attaching the steering wheel can come loose, posing a choking and aspiration hazard to young children.

Scooters and Mini Bikes Recalled by Fisher-Price
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, (CPSC), Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 electric scooters and about 55,000 electric mini bikes. The motor control circuits can malfunction causing the scooters and mini bikes to continue to run after the power or throttle button is released, posing a risk of injury to children.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Radio Flyer Inc. of Chicago, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 15,000 Little Wooden Push Cars for repair. A child can pull the horn off the car's steering wheel, and a small part inside poses a choking hazard.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Little Tikes Company, of Hudson, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling about 21,400 Pop 'n Scoot Ride-on toys. Young children who lean forward can fall forward over the handlebars, causing facial injuries.

Alpha International Recalls Pedal Cars
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, (CPSC), Alpha International Inc., also known as Gearbox Pedal Car Company, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is voluntarily recalling about 75,000 pedal cars. The paint coating on some of these pedal cars contains high lead levels. CPSC standards ban toys and other children's products containing high levels of lead. Young children could ingest the lead from the car's paint coating, presenting a lead poisoning hazard.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Peg Perego USA Inc., of Fort Wayne, Ind., is recalling about 274,000 battery-powered children's riding vehicles for repair. Pedals can stick and electrical components can overheat, presenting fire and injury hazards to children.

Power Wheels Ride-On Battery-Powered Vehicles Recall to Repair
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y., is conducting a voluntary recall involving up to 10 million battery-powered Power Wheels ride-on cars and trucks. The vehicles' electrical components can overheat and cause fires. Children can suffer injuries from fires and house fires can occur. Additionally, wiring problems can prevent the vehicles from stopping.
