Lamplight Farms Inc. Recall of TikiŽ Bamboo Torches and Replacement Fuel Canisters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Lamplight Farms Inc., of Menomonee Falls, Wis., is voluntarily recalling about 963,000 Tiki® bamboo torches and about 18,000 replacement fuel canisters. The surface coating of some flame guards on these bamboo torches and replacement canisters can absorb the fuel and ignite. This can cause the torch and nearby combustibles to catch on fire, posing a risk of burn injuries and property damage.

Lamplight Farms Inc. Recall of Tiki® Cone Metal Torches Sold at Wal-Mart
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Lamplight Farms Inc., a Division of W.C. Bradley Company, of Menomonee Falls, Wis., is voluntarily recalling about 350,000 Tiki® Cone Metal Torches. The head and cover of these torches can come loose or be dislodged during use, allowing torch fuel to spill. This poses a risk of burn injuries and property damage.

Jo-Ann Stores Inc. Recall of Bamboo Torches
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Jo-Ann Stores Inc., of Hudson, Ohio,is voluntarily recalling about 36,000 bamboo torches. The plastic oil canister can melt when the torch is in use posing a fire hazard.

Oriental Trading Company Recall of Coconut Bamboo Torches
Oriental Trading Company of Omaha, NE is voluntarily recalling approximately 1,180 Coconut Bamboo Torches sold through its mail order catalog. The Coconut Bamboo Torch was item No. 34/483. The 54" outdoor luau torch, consists of a hollowed-out coconut shell atop a bamboo pole. (See picture below). The lamps were shipped in cardboard boxes on which the code, type of lamp, and "Made in Philippines" is written. The torches were sold nationwide from May 2001 through July 2001 for about $9.00.

Tools Exchange Inc., of Lynwood, Calif., is recalling about 5,300 novelty cigarette lighters. Harbor Freight Tools, of Camarillo, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 500 propane torches.

Fuel Canisters for Outdoor Bamboo Torches Recalled by Conros
In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Conros Corp., of Toronto, Canada, is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 "Summer Lights" brand fuel canisters for outdoor bamboo torches. The fuel canister assembly can cause the bamboo pole to ignite.
