November 25, 1997- Pasta Machine Lids Recalled by Creative Technologies
In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Creative TechnologiesCorp. of Brooklyn, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about50,000 pasta machines to replace some of their lids. Whenthe safety cutoff switch on the lid does not activate,consumers' fingers can be severely injured if their hand isplaced into the mixing bowl.
