June 21, 2005- FF Acquisition Wheeled Goods Corp. Recall of Go-Karts
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), FF Acquisition Wheeled Goods Corp. of West Point, Miss. is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 Yerf-Dog Go-Karts. The suspension assembly can crack causing the rider to lose control of the go-kart.
May 20, 2005 - Carter Brothers Manufacturing Co. Inc. Recall of Fun-Kart Go-Karts
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Carter Brothers Manufacturing Co. Inc., of Brundidge, Ala., is voluntarily recalling about 9,000 Carter Brothers Fun-Kart Go-Karts. The wheel could separate from the go-kart, posing a roll-over hazard.
August 8, 2002- Engines Used on Fun Kart Type Go-Karts Recalled by Briggs & Stratton
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC), Briggs & Stratton Corp., of Milwaukee, Wis., is voluntarily recalling about160,000 engines used on fun-karts. Fuel from the engine can spill out if the fun-kart overturns,posing serious fire and burn hazards to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC), Carter Brothers Manufacturing Company Inc. ofBrundidge, Ala., is recalling for retrofit about 5,000 go-karts withexposed rear axles. Riders can be seriously injured or killed if theirlong hair or clothing becomes entangled in the rotating axle.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer ProductSafety Commission (CPSC), Manco Products Inc., of Fort Wayne,Ind., is recalling for repair approximately 300,000 go-karts withexposed rear axles. Riders can be seriously injured or killed iftheir long, loose hair or clothing becomes entangled on therotating axle.
