Blue Coral Recall of Rain-X® Glass Cleaner and Washer Fluid
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Blue Coral, of Cleveland, Ohio is voluntarily recalling about 1.1 million containers of Rain-X® glass cleaner and washer fluid. The products, which contain methyl alcohol, are not sealed with child-resistant closures as required by federal law. Methyl alcohol, also known as methanol, is toxic and can cause blindness or death if ingested.

National Service Industries Recall of Drain Cleaners
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), National Service Industries Inc. (NSI), of Atlanta, Ga., is voluntarily recalling about 1.1 million bottles of drain cleaner sold in 64 oz., child-resistant bottles. The bottles can leak, allowing the contents of the cleaner to come into contact with consumers. These cleaners can cause irritation and burns to the skin and eyes.

Commercial Cleaners Recalled by National Service Industries Inc.
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), National Service Industries Inc. (NSI), of Atlanta, Ga., is voluntarily recalling about 1.4 million bottles of Zep Commercial cleaner sold in 32 oz. bottles. Some of these bottles can leak through the cap when turned on their side, allowing the contents of the cleaner to come into contact with consumers. These cleaners can cause irritation and burns to the skin and eyes.

Eden LLC, of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 5,800 toy drums. Lakeshore Learning Materials, of Carson, Calif., is recalling 13,000 children's educational games. EMSCO Inc., is voluntarily recalling about 2,200 children's toy brooms. SuperValu Eastern Region, of Richmond, Va., is voluntarily recalling about 500 bottles of Richfood bleach.

Furniture Refinisher Recalled by Sherwin-Williams & Brockway
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Sherwin-Williams Co., of Cleveland, Ohio and Brockway Standard Inc. of Atlanta, Ga., are voluntarily recalling about 3,000 cans of Formby's Conditioning Furniture Refinisher. The product and its vapors can seep or leak from the nozzle base at the top of the can, posing a risk of fire and chemical injuries.

Scrub Free Daily Shower Cleaner & Spray Recalled by Benckiser
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Benckiser Consumer Products Inc. of Greenwich, Conn., is voluntarily recalling 230,000 bottles of Scrub Free Daily Shower Cleaner and Scrub Free Daily Shower Spray that can contain a bacteria. The bacteria usually does not affect healthy individuals, but could cause respiratory or other infections in individuals with chronic health problems or in individuals who have impaired immune systems.

Olympic Deck Cleaner Recalled by PPG Architectural Finishes
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), PPG Architectural Finishes (PPGAF) is voluntarily recalling about 420,000 jugs of Olympic Deck Cleaner. Caps used to seal the plastic jugs can allow air pressure to build up and cause the cleaner to seep past the cap or be expelled when the cap is removed. Eye damage or skin irritation could occur from direct contact with the product.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Castrol North America Inc.of Wayne, N.J., is recalling about 338,500 cans of SuperClean aerosol foam. The defective cans could allow thecleaner to gradually leak out through the seams. Directcontact with the cleaner could burn or irritate consumers'eyes and skin.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Camil Corp. Ltd. of Rio Piedras, PuertoRico, is recalling 1,000 bottles of Aguarras floor cleaner, whichcontains turpentine. The product's packaging is not child-resistant; notlabeled with the necessary warnings, cautions for use and instructions forappropriate first aid in case of ingestion; and resembles a liquor flask.The packaging violates the Federal Hazardous Substances Act and the PoisonPrevention Packaging Act. Turpentine presents a serious poisoning hazard,possibly causing chemical pneumonia, pulmonary damage anddeath.
