August 17, 2006- Lands’ End Children’s Light-Up Backpacks Recalled for Overheating
September 22, 2004- Eddie Bauer Recall of Ebtek Brand Backpacks with StoolsDispensers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kanaan Co., Ltd., of Seoul, Korea and Eddie Bauer Inc., of Redmond, Wash. are voluntarily recalling about 300 Ebtek Brand Backpacks with Stools. The stool could collapse and cause the person using the stool to fall. The stool does not meet the firm’s strength requirements.
August 18, 1998- "Mulan" Backpacks & Rolling Luggage Recalled by Pyramid Accessories
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer ProductSafety Commission, (CPSC), Pyramid Accessories Inc., of New York,N.Y., is recalling about 3,700 of Mulan backpacks and about 1,800 units of Mulan rolling luggage. The backpacks' and rolling luggage's artwork contains paint with high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.
