Cooper Hand Tools Recall of Weller Heating Element used in Soldering Irons
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Cooper Hand Tools, of Apex, N.C., is voluntarily recalling about 890 Weller® Brand Heating Elements. The housing of the heating element can unexpectedly leak hot metal, posing a serious risk of a burn injury to the user.

Target Recall of Jumbo Pencils with Sharpeners
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 176,000 jumbo pencils with sharpeners. The sharpener’s razor blade is exposed when the cover is removed. Also, the pencil sharpener hole is large enough to allow a finger to fit inside. This poses a laceration hazard to children and adults.

Bernat Yarn Recall of “Fur Out” Yarn
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Spin Rite LP of Ontario, Canada, is voluntarily recalling About 730,000 1.75-ounce balls of "Fur Out" yarn. “Fur Out” yarn is flammable when used as the sole yarn in a garment. Garments constructed of “Fur Out” yarn are dangerously flammable when exposed to a flame, posing a burn risk to consumers.

Children's Art Supply Sets Recalled by Creative Kids Inc.
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Creative Kids Inc. of Monsey, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 1,400 Children's Art Supply Sets. The sets contain mini-cutters with razor blades which pose a laceration hazard to young children.

Children's Soap Making Kits Recalled by Pace Products Inc.
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Pace Products Inc., of Apopka, Fla., is voluntarily recalling about 145,000 children's soap making kits. The soap may get too hot when heated in the microwave oven and leak from the tray mold posing a burn hazard to children.

Kole Imports Recalls Contact Adhesive
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Kole Imports, of Carson, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 90,000 packages of contact adhesive. The adhesive contains toluene, which can present a fire and poisoning hazard to consumers. The packaging of this product does not have the required cautionary labeling, as required under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sears Roebuck and Co., of Hoffman Estates, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 13,000 Craftsman glue guns. These glue guns can overheat, presenting fire and burn hazards to consumers.

Children's Soap Craft Set Recalled by Toys "R" Us
In cooperation with the U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Toys "R" Us, ofParamus, N.J., is recalling about 4,000 Baskets of Bubbleschildren's craft sets because of a potential fire hazard. Ifconsumers melt pieces of the soap disks that come with theset in a microwave oven for 10 minutes, as instructed, thesoap could ignite in the microwave. The instructions shouldhave read 10 seconds rather than 10 minutes.
