CPSC, Firms Announce Recalls of Sweatshirts and Infant Cargo Skirts
This press release consists of two recalls. Please choose the appropriate recall below.
- Sweatshirts Jordache Ltd., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 5,400 FUBU brand sweatshirts. The sweatshirts, which fail to meet federal mandatory standards for fabric flammability, could ignite easily and present a serious risk of burn injuries in violation of the Federal Flammable Fabrics Act.
- Infant Cargo Skirts The Associated Merchandising Corp. (AMC) of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling 9,500 infant girls' cargo skirts. The snaps on the panty of these skirts can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
